Travis joined Bardenwerper, Talbott, & Pregliasco in August of 2026 after spending nearly a decade as an Assistant County Attorney in the Jefferson County Attorney’s Office. At the Jefferson County Attorney’s Office, Travis provided broad land use, property law, and general governmental representation to a variety of Metro-related clients, including the Louisville Metro Council; the Mayor’s Office; the Planning Commission, Board of Zoning Adjustment, and related subcommittees; the Offices of Planning and Public Works; the Landmarks Commission; the Landbank; and the Waterfront Development Corporation. His time as an attorney with Louisville Metro gave Travis unique insights and expertise that he now brings to BTP’s clients.

Travis is a Louisville native who attended Saint Xavier High School (Class of 2010), obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at Xavier University (Class of 2014, University Scholar, Cum Laude), and then earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law (Class of 2017). He was also admitted to the Kentucky BAR in 2017.
